WallTales London was born from a simple but powerful idea: children’s interiors should be stylish, meaningful, and imaginative for all ages.
When I was pregnant with my first child I wanted to design a nursery that reflected our family’s personality, creative and playful, but also to be aesthetically beautiful and unisex as we didn’t know if we were having a boy or girl. I decided to illustrate and design my own.
Fast forward to life with two as we welcomed our newborn son Bowen, bedtime became a chaotic but beautiful whirlwind. We started using the wallpaper I’d created to make up stories with our toddler while feeding the new baby. Pure survival at first, but soon, the stories became a ritual. A moment to laugh and just enjoy each other. That’s when WallTales took root.
Today
Today, WallTales London is a collection of hand-illustrated luxury wallpapers and matching storybooks designed to transform children’s and adult's time together into loving memories. Each storybook is written and illustrated by me (hi!), and designed not just for children but for parents who want to see their own world reflected in the pages. Think backdrops of London to Ibiza to Glastonbury, and street style outfits.
The stories are fun but they are also grounded in positive messages about self-love, confidence, and understanding emotions. Children deserve stories that empower them, and parents deserve design that speaks to them too.
